Dr. Rutherford graduated from Washington State University and University of Washington School of Medicine. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She was employed by EvergreenHealth, where she has served as founding Medical Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Program and also Medical Director of Women’s and Children’s Services. She is also a past President of the Washington State Obstetrical Association.
Christi Emmons graduated from Seattle Pacific University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She returned for her Masters in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program at Gonzaga University in 2018 after working over twenty years for both Swedish and EvergreenHealth. Christi is passionate about education and partnering with her patients to help support their optimal wellness.
Annabell graduated in March 2020 from Charter College, in Sunnyside, WA. As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Annabell assists alongside 3W’s Medical Providers to ensure high standards of patient care. She has a deep love for women’s healthcare and joined 3W as their first CMA in June 2020.
Helen graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on Administration and Public Policy, as well as a BA in Women’s Studies, both from the University of Washington. Helen, along with friend Melanie Gibbs founded WAMS in 2012 and has served on the WAMS Advisory Board since its inception. Helen was hired on as Advancement Director in August 2015, became Executive Director in June 2017, and CEO on July 15, 2020.
Taylor received her BA in Management from Northwest University in 2017. She has experience working with nonprofits and in HR specifically in recruiting, onboarding and policy management. She is originally from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma but spent most of her life in Gig Harbor, Washington. Taylor was a key team member in helping 3W become AAAHC accredited in 2019. She joined the 3W team in January 2018 as the Office Manager and recently stepped in to the Executive Assistant role in April 2020.
Lauren graduated with her BA in Psychology from the University of Washington in Spring 2020. She was born and raised in Lake Tapps, Washington. Lauren has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in both acute long term care and ambulatory day surgery. She is passionate about caring for the whole patient and walking alongside their health journey. Lauren joined the 3W team in Spring of 2018 as a medical volunteer and developed a calling and passion for Women’s Health. She was hired on as Office Manager in March of 2020.
Mike graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in English with a Creative Writing emphasis and a minor in Philosophy. He grew up in California’s Silicon Valley but has called Washington home ever since college. Following his diverse interests in the arts, technology, and natural health, to name a few, he has variously worked as a freelance videographer, software instructor, and farm intern. He looks forward to the unique convergence of these interests—creative, technical, and holistic—in his new role as 3W’s Media Director, beginning July 2020.
Alejandra is a native Washingtonian! She graduated from Shoreline Community College in 2015 with an associate degree in General Studies. She enjoys singing and playing the guitar in her spare time. Alejandra is very passionate about women’s health and joined the 3W advancement team as Content Marketing Specialist in October 2020.
Marisol is a student at the University of Washington and will be graduating in the Spring of 2021 with a BA in Political Science. She first joined 3W as a marketing intern in 2020 and assumed the role of Hispanic Community Advocate in 2021. Marisol is an avid runner, espresso enthusiast but most of all has a great passion for social issues especially those pertaining to women. Marisol looks forward to joining our mission and serving our community.
